Living Hope Project

Living Hope Project

Living Hope Pond with Tarp ProjectDue to the severe drought in South Africa, the community of Fish Hoek has lost its main water source for drinking water. The pond that was usually full of water had evaporated, and because the ground was so dry, the little rain they did get was immediately soaked into the arid ground. Premier helped fund a project with Living Hope to lay a tarp over the pond that will collect the rainwater before it seeps into the ground. In this picture, you can see a small pool of water that has formed from the last rain. Living Hope seeks to reach people for Christ, bringing hope and breaking the despair of poverty and disease through healthcare, substance abuse recovery, life skills, and economic empowerment.
